VEDP Leaders in Export Trade Program Graduation

2/4/2019

Tek Fusion Global, Inc. (TFG) was one of nine companies that recently graduated from the Virginia Economic Development Partnership’s (VEDP) Virginia Leaders in Export Trade (VALET) program.

VALET is a two-year international business acceleration program. This award-winning program offers a powerful combination of capital resources provided by the Commonwealth of Virginia and professional services from expert, private sector partners. Program benefits include executive training, international sales plan development, educational events and customized research. The VALET program generates an average increase in international sales of 54% for participating companies. Only 25 companies per year are accepted into the VALET program.

“TFG is excited to have the knowledge needed to grow internationally thanks to the VALET program,” said Mary McDougall, CEO. “Our graduation has prepared TFG to expand globally and has provided the resources and training to help us develop our own in house ITARS capability.”

To date, 325 Virginia companies have participated in the VALET program. Currently, another County business, High Threat Concealment, is a program participant. Previously, Printpack and Lumber Liquidators, both of which have County locations, graduated from the VALET program.
