Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Develop test cases to support test procedures
• Execute test cases during test phases
• Record and write complete defect reports found during test execution
• Interpret product requirements to define and develop test strategy, plan and procedures for both hardware and software components
• Apply quality assurance principles and practices in a fast paced, rapidly growing business
• Ability to set up and troubleshoot testing environments for end-to-end testing to include hardware configuration
• Participate in the review of QA procedures and processes
• Communicate results and status both written and verbally to team
• Must be a problem solver, self-motivated, able to work independently and on a team

Required Skills/Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance test role
• Experience in test planning to include the development of test cases and test plans with the goal of improving product quality
• Working knowledge of the software development and testing life cycles
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex test scenarios and resolve functional gaps
• Experience using defect tracking tools
• Problem solving skills demonstrated by results on past projects
• Ability to document test results in a detailed manner in formal reports
• Experience in cross team collaboration with developers, program managers, and engineers
• Ability to work and deliver under tight deadlines while handling multiple detail-oriented tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and detail-oriented approach to tasks and technical issues
• Proven analytical and technical aptitude
• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science or related disciplines is preferred

Travel: Domestic and international travel of 25% is potential for this position

Candidate should be eligible for a US Top Secret Clearance.
